CardPanorama Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Summary: CardPanorama is a personal credit card and recurring payment organizer for Mac. The information you enter is stored on your device and synchronized across your supported devices using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit services when available. CardPanorama is not a banking or payment-processing service.

Information you choose to store

CardPanorama stores information you enter to organize payment cards and recurring payments. This may include card nicknames, issuers and networks, the last four digits of card numbers, cardholder labels, expiration month and year, credit limits, billing dates, notes, and card status. Recurring-payment information may include service names, amounts, billing schedules, associated cards, management website addresses and other details you provide.

CardPanorama is designed to use only the last four digits of a payment card. It does not ask you to store full payment card numbers or card security codes (CVV/CVC).

Local storage and iCloud synchronization

App data is saved locally on your Mac. When iCloud synchronization is available, CardPanorama uses Apple's CloudKit services and the private database associated with your Apple Account to synchronize app data between supported devices signed in to the same account. Your synced data is handled by Apple's iCloud infrastructure, not a separate CardPanorama developer-operated database.

Synchronization depends on your Apple Account, device settings, connectivity and the availability of Apple's services. Changes may take time to appear on another device. Apple's terms and privacy policy also apply to iCloud and CloudKit.

Data access, analytics and advertising

CardPanorama does not require you to create a separate CardPanorama account. The app does not connect to your bank or card issuer, retrieve transactions from financial institutions, sell your personal data, or use your card and recurring-payment data for advertising or cross-app tracking. No developer-operated analytics or advertising service is integrated into the app.

Apple may process certain information when you download or purchase the app or use iCloud, in accordance with Apple's own privacy practices.

Notifications and exported files

If you allow notifications, CardPanorama may use local notifications to remind you about an approaching card expiration. Notification permission can be managed in macOS settings.

If you choose to export information, CardPanorama generates a file at the location you select. You control how exported files are stored or shared. Files saved outside the app are not automatically removed when you delete information inside CardPanorama.

Data retention and deletion

Your app data remains stored locally and, when synchronization is enabled, in your private iCloud database until you change or delete it, subject to Apple's synchronization and retention behavior. You can edit or delete cards and recurring payments using the app's available controls. Deletions may synchronize to other devices using the same Apple Account.

Removing the application from one Mac may remove local app data but does not necessarily delete copies stored in iCloud or on other devices. If you need help understanding available deletion options, please contact us.

Your responsibility for information and exports

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality and suitability of information that you choose to enter, edit or maintain in CardPanorama. The app does not independently verify your card details, recurring-payment information, amounts, billing schedules or other records. You should verify important financial information with your bank, card issuer or service provider.

Any export, download, transfer, storage, disclosure or sharing of information or files generated by CardPanorama, including Excel spreadsheets, is initiated and controlled by you. Exported files may contain sensitive information. You are responsible for safeguarding exported files, selecting recipients and determining whether and how to share them.

Developer access and limitations of liability

CardPanorama is designed so that Dana Nahmani does not collect, monitor, receive or have routine access to the content of the card and recurring-payment records you enter. Those records are stored on your Mac and, when iCloud synchronization is available, in your private CloudKit database. The developer does not operate a separate server to receive your app records. This does not apply to information independently processed by Apple under its own privacy practices or information you voluntarily send when contacting support.

CardPanorama is a personal organization tool, not a banking, payment-processing or financial advisory service. You use the app and rely on its content, calculations, reminders, exports and synchronization at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dana Nahmani is not liable for loss or damage arising from inaccurate user-entered information, decisions made using the app, user-controlled exports or onward disclosures, missed reminders, or data loss or synchronization issues. Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Children's privacy

CardPanorama is a general-purpose personal organization tool and is not specifically designed for children.
